The odds of getting a hole-in-one for the average golfer are about 1 in 8,000, but players at Gold Creek Golf Club were far above average in April. On separate occasions during the month of April, two golfers experienced "Pure Gold" on Gold Creek Golf Club’s immaculate course.
Neal Nix of Dawsonville scored an ace on Gold Creek’s signature hole, Prospector #8, a par-3 that measures 170 yards from the back of the tees and 79 from the forward. Pat Dorn of Cumming drove one into the cup on Gold Creek’s El Dorado #2, a 213 yards from the pin par-3.
