Berry's first class of four-year seniors since the programs reinstatement to varsity status in 2003, played their last regular season home game with style in a 3-0 win over Reinhardt. The win gives the Vikings a 29-5 record this season and an 11-1 conference mark. Meanwhile, Reinhardt falls to 8-22 and is now 2-10 in Southern States Athletic Conference games.
Berry jumped out to early leads in all three games of the win. Berry won 30-15, 30-15 and 30-23 over the Lady Eagles.
The Vikings came out playing well in the first half. The team had five service aces in the first game, four of those came from Jamie Boze, who finished the game with five aces to go along with 11 kills.
Alicen Lee was also a factor in the first game getting all four of her block assists for the match in the opening game. The team had five total blocks in the first game and 14 digs. Berry also six assists from Megan Cheatham who only played in the opening game of the match. In the opening game the Vikings hit .313 as a team, while holding their opponents to a -.094 hitting percentage.
Senior Amanda Stiefel led the attack for the Vikings with 13 kills over the course of the match. She was joined in double digits, by Boze and Grace Brannon. Brannon had 10 kills and hit .526 for the match.
The Vikings' offense hit .424 in the second game as it cruised to a second win. Ashley Weider had solid production off the bench getting 15 assists while playing in only two games.
The Vikings also had a big night from the service line, getting 12 service aces as a team. In addition to Boze's five aces the team also got four aces from Shawn Carroll who also led the team with 14 digs in the match. Emily Money and seniors Molly Cline and Stiefel also added aces for the Vikings.
Senior, Rachel Moreau led the Vikings with 17 assists in the match. However, the most assists in the game went to Meagan Pederson from Reinhardt who had all 21 of her team's assists.
