Please plan for delays, and take the time to watch the motorcade pass through Northeast Georgia. Remember that the road will be closed BEFORE the first cyclist reaches the area and will remain closed until the last cyclist goes through an area. A Georgia State Patrol Van with a sign stating “END OF CONVOY” will signal the end of the road closure.
Projections have these road closures lasting approximately 45 minutes except for while in Helen. Downtown Helen could be closed for up to 1 ½ hours. Delays are expected. Please use alternate routes or use the time to enjoy this exciting event.
