The Xtreme Adidas Cup, hosted by the Atlanta Soccer Academy (ASA), is Saturday and Sunday, May 13-14th. Teams from all over metro Atlanta and some from Tennessee, will be descending upon Forsyth County Saturday morning at three South Forsyth venues -- Polo Fields, Midway Park and South Forsyth Middle School -- for a tournament that will culminate in first and second place designations on Sunday afternoon.

Approximately 860 youth players are registered to participate, and ASA will welcome teams from Forsyth, Cherokee, Henry, Coweta and Gwinnett counties, along with a few teams from Tennessee.

Eighty-six teams ranging from U8 to U16 in Recreation and U8 Elite to U12 in Academy are scheduled to compete, and games will begin at 8:00 am each day running through about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. All participating players will receive goody bags, compliments of ASA, and trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each division.

Soccer enthusiasts are invited to come see youth soccer at its best this weekend at Polo, Midway and South Forsyth Middle. Spectators can enjoy a variety of food and beverages, served from the Polo concession stand, along with tasty frozen treats by Shakes...and CT Grinders will be providing their delectable specialities at South Forsyth Middle School soccer fields. Atlanta Sporting Family will be parked at Polo in their big white Hummer, and United BMW will display a beautiful new model BMW for guests to admire as well.
