Since Tuesday, May 3, we have had little to no water pressure in the subdivision of Eagle Creek Shores, off of Bald Ridge Marina Road. After repeatedly calling to report this problem, we were contacted by a representative of the Cumming Water Department, who said he has been out to our subdivision on several occasions and doesn't know what is causing this problem. He said we have very low water pressure throughout the neighbourhood but doesn't know why. This problem has been going on since last Tuesday. Why is it taking so long to address this issue? As our home is located on what is considered a "lake lot," we pay a tremendous amount of taxes into our community. Why is this money -- and SPLOST funds -- being spent on new baseball fields while we do not have an adequate water system or competent technicians able to make repairs when needed? We pray that this issue will be addressed and water service will be restored to our area.
