Commission Candidate Jim Harrell Shares Views on County's Water Issue

Since water is a critical issue facing Forsyth County, I would like the voters to know my position so they can make an informed vote.

As a county commissioner, my job will be to serve ALL of the people in the county and that includes keeping their taxes down while insuring the services they require.

While I respect Mayor Gravitt for the many things he has done for the city and the county, I believe that we can save the taxpayers a lot of money by having the county process its own water. I stand with Commissioner Laughinghouse and Commissioner Richard on this.

I assume Commissioner Conway thinks the deal offered by the mayor was fine since he voted for it. My other opponent, Bill Hatley, said in the Republican Women’s meeting this week that he met with the mayor and that the mayor is supporting him. That will not be comforting news to the taxpayers in the county.

As your commissioner, I pledge to work for ALL of the people of the county not just a chosen few.

Jim Harrell

Candidate for Commissioner

"Republican leadership you can trust"
