Ceremony To Honor Those Lost September 11, 2001 Features Special Guests and Performances

Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) invites all citizens and public safety personnel to attend the 2006 Liberty Garden Ceremony, honoring those lost on September 11, 2001...

Keep Forsyth County Beautiful invites all county citizens, enforcement officers, firefighters and safety personnel to attend the Fifth Annual Liberty Garden Ceremony, which remembers those who were lost on September 11, 2001. KFCB will have a special recognition of public safety employees for their contribution to the Forsyth County community.

Speakers include: Jim Perdue, Pastor of North Cross Baptist Church; Chief Danny Bowman & Lieutenant Brian Gary of the Forsyth County Fire Department. The ceremony will also include special vocal and dance presentations featuring an opening number performed by 'The Maskers' from Forsyth Central High School, along with a flag observance by the Forsyth County Honor Guard.

WHERE: Forsyth County Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road

WHEN: Monday, September 11, 2006

TIME: 11:15 a.m.

In 2002, Keep America Beautiful asked that all affiliates across America create a monument garden called the Liberty Garden in memory and honor of those lost September 11, 2001.
