Commissioner Charlie Laughinghouse is currently up for re-election on July 18th and in full campaign mode as the "Citizen's Choice." Charlie was elected in 2002 as the "Citizen's Candidate" and has vowed to continue to represent the interests of the common homeowner in Forsyth County.

" I ask that you consider my individual record as a commissioner, and not the actions of the majority,” Charlie said.

Charlie has often found himself on the shorter end of a 3-2 decision on many of the board's decisions and hopes to have help in the coming years to get Forsyth County on a path of responsible growth.

Taking nothing for granted, Charlie can be seen out campaigning at his signature "road rallies” all over the county. "If you care enough about this county to get out and do this, you have my vote,” one supporter said.

Where's Charlie's Next Stop?
Charlie plans to be available outside the county commission building on Wednesday, May 17th, at 6 p.m. to give yard signs and bumper stickers to supporters.
