In response to the large number of questions and concerns she has received regarding the Lanier Golf Course property, Commissioner Linda Ledbetter is holding an open meeting on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:00pm to hear citizens' input on this very hot issue.
The meeting will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Administration Building, 110 E. Main Street, Suite 220, Cumming, Georgia. Commissioner Ledbetter has left several voice messages, both for the Lanier Lifestyle Committee and individual citizens indicating that she does not want to lose this golf course. She has also indicated that Jack Conway suggested that "we" [the county] buy the golf course.
The Lanier Golf Course task force is attempting to arrange a meeting with the Commissioner prior to her Wednesday meeting to further investigate comments she has made regarding current/proposed use of this property.
