Jim Harrell wins commission seat over incumbent, Jack Conway, Charlie Laughinghouse maintans his seat defeating challengerPete Amos.
Charlie Laughinghouse, Dave Richard and Jim Harrell celebrated the victory together at the home of Charlie's daughter.
Over 12,000 voters turned out for the hotly contested commissioner's races. After the dust settled, it was Jim Harrell and Charlie Laughinghouse winning big. This creates a new majority of homeowner friendly "pro-citizen" leadership.
Please note that election results are both unofficial and incomplete according to the Forsyth County Government web site. Results of today's election will be reviewed by the Board of Elections Thursday, August 10 in Suite 200, Forsyth County Administration Building to certify the election.
