The state convention is the final step in serving in the Georgia Republican party. At the state convention, the state chairman and other state officers are elected to serve two year terms. Other state party business is conducted as needed.

The convention process is open to all registered resident voters of Georgia who believe in the principles of the Republican Party and support its aims.
