The Forsyth County School Board has announced Assistant Principal Appointments and the retirement of Safety Director, David Adams.

1. Mr. David Adams, Director of Safety and Management, will be retiring after sixteen years of service in the Forsyth County School System and forty years of overall service in education. David will be returning to assist part time with safety and student discipline. Congratulations, David!
2. Ms. Sherri Black, Assistant Principal, Settles Bridge Elementary, was approved to transfer to Assistant Principal, Cumming Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
3. Ms. Susan Moccia, Assistant Principal, Chestatee Elementary, was approved to transfer to Assistant Principal, Big Creek Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
4. Mr. Todd Smith, Assistant Principal, Midway Elementary, was approved to transfer to Assistant Principal, Settles Bridge Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
5. Ms. Susan Turner, Assistant Principal, Cumming Elementary, was approved to transfer to Assistant Principal, Sharon Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
6. Ms. Patti Ann Allen, Counselor, Daves Creek Elementary, was appointed to Assistant Principal, Chattahoochee Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
7. Mr. Jeff Cheney, Principal, Oglethorpe Charter Middle School, Chatham County Schools, was appointed to Assistant Principal, South Forsyth High School, for the 2006-7 school year.
8. Ms. April McNaughton, Instructional Accountability Specialist, Butler County School System, Greeneville, Alabama, was appointed to Assistant Principal, Chestatee Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
9. Ms. Jan Munroe, Gifted Teacher, Sawnee Elementary, was appointed to Assistant Principal, Coal Mountain Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
10. Ms. Sandy Tinsley, Quality Work Facilitator, VickeryCreekMiddle School, was appointed to Assistant Principal, VickeryCreekMiddle School, for the 2006-7 school year.
11. Ms. Jennifer Vanderbunt, Teacher (4th grade), Sharon Elementary, was appointed to Assistant Principal, Chestatee Elementary, for the 2006-7 school year.
