The Sawnee Elementary School Odyssey of the Mind team took fourth place in their division competition in the Georgia Odyssey of the Mind regional tournament, Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia.

The seven-member team, along with Coach Dianna Tribble, will go on to compete in the State Championship in Columbus, Georgia, Saturday, April 22nd. The team was also awarded a 1st Place Certificate for their Treasure Chest Cake made by LaQuitta Rummler.

Sawnee Elementary was the only team from a public school in Forsyth County to compete in any of the regional competitions.
