Cody Mixon, a fifth grade student at Sawnee Elementary, has won at school, county, regional and state levels in the Class One category in the area of Anthropology in the Social Science Fair. The title of his outstanding project was “What Games Did Native Americans Play and How Did It Affect Our Culture?”
Cody was proud to represent Sawnee Elementary and Forsyth County on Saturday, March 18th at Clayton State University. Cody’s Social Studies teacher, Mr. Baxter Cotten, who has encouraged and supported Cody is especially proud of his student. Congratulations, Cody!
