PTA's 'Building Successful Partnerships' Seminar Can Help Drive School Improvement

The Georgia PTA will present its Building Successful Partnerships seminar on Saturday, January 7, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. at Georgia Power's Atlanta Headquarters, 241 Ralph McGill Boulevard. Seminar participants will learn how to improve student achievement for Georgia's children with collaborative relationships among educators, parents, community and business members. The seminar supports Federal No Child Left Behind requirements for increasing parental involvement.

Educators, parents, PTA leaders, community and business members -- and anyone else interested in improving student success in Georgia's schools -- are encouraged to attend. The seminar is co-sponsored by Georgia Power, United Way of Atlanta and Georgia Department of Education Title I Parent Involvement Office.
