Participants in the The Hometown Education Reform Organization (H.E.R.O.) Yahoo group have been busy lately discussing a controversy over Christmas Trees at Sharon Elementary School.

H.E.R.O. of Forsyth County, Georgia, is a non-partisan citizens group devoted to improving the public school system.

It seems the policies of the school regarding Christmas Trees is unclear at this point, which is causing quite a stir. One teacher was also quoted as saying elves were also not allowed because they were "evil."
