Board of Education To Discuss 'SPLOST III' at May 18th Meeting

The Board of Education is considering holding a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) referendum to fund capital improvements sometime in the fall of 2006. Forsyth County voters approved a SPLOST in 1997 and another in 2001. The current SPLOST II will expire in June 2007.

The Board of Education will discuss this SPLOST proposal at their meeting on May 18, 2006.
