Berry is one of six institutions of higher education in Georgia profiled in the ninth edition of "Barron's Best Buys in College Education."
A total of 247 colleges and universities nationwide were selected based upon a variety of factors including tuition rates and questionnaires completed by college officials and students. Barron's describes these institutions as "myth-breakers" that "breach the supposed link between college price and college quality." The only other institutions in Georgia to be included were Agnes Scott College, Georgia Tech, Mercer University, Oglethorpe University and The University of Georgia.
This ranking comes only months after "U.S. News and World Report" once again ranked Berry second among the South's top comprehensive colleges that focus on undergraduate education. "U.S. News" also recognized Berry for its value, ranking the college third on its "Great Schools, Great Prices" list among comprehensive undergraduate institutions in the South.
