Fun Things For the Kids To Do This Summer

Be the mom who has all the answers when the kids ask, "What can we do today?" Here's a sampling of fun activities and places to go this summer...and some are even free!

Movies 400 - Free Summer Time Movies on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.

Get there early, because these free movies fill up fast! Remember to buy your food and drinks prior to the start of the movies, as prices increase just as soon as the movie starts! For more information, call (678) 513-4400.

Summer Craft Camps at Michael's

Michael's in Cumming has been offering creative camps for kids ages 3 - 12 for the past five years and has all kinds of fun, themed sessions to offer again this summer. Camps are going on now through August 5th, with morning sessions taking place 10:00 a.m. - noon each day, and afternoon sessions 1:30-3:30 p.m. "Lunch Bunch" is 12:00-1:00 p.m. For more information or to register your child, please contact Susan Moore at (678) 947-5820 or e-mail to susieq9596@aol.com.

Cumming Public Library Summer Programs

Children of all ages may sign up for the free summer reading incentive program, which continues through July 31. Several activities and events are also on the agenda at the library for all ages. To learn more, please click here. Camp Geoffrey at Toys R Us This unique camp takes place on Saturdays from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for children ages 3 - 8. Atlanta Fest at Six Flags Over Georgia The Atlanta Fest is coming soon!

It’s three days of music and fun at Six Flags Over Georgia, June 16th – 18th. Visitors will be treated to over 40 Christian artists and speakers, plus all the rides that families can handle! Some favorite Fish artists will be there to help celebrate the day: Third Day, Casting Crowns, Audio Adrenaline, Building 429, David Crowder Band, By the Tree, Skillet and more.
