During the recent 2006 Christian Independent Artists (CIA) Summit in Franklin, Tennessee, local Georgia talent, Sean Smith, walked away with four of the major awards—“Contemporary Artist of the Year”, “Inspirational Artist of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, and “Album of the Year” for his CD, REAL.

The CIA Summit was sponsored by Indieheaven.com, which assists more than 450 Christian independent artists with marketing, promotions, and distribution. It is the most popular website of its kind with over 4.5 million hits per month and 1.2 million page views.
