'Sports Explosion' Challenges Kids on Sports, Nutrition and Safety

The North Georgia College and State University is presenting Sports Explosion, a one-day mini- camp on March 25th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Instructors will be teaching kids about a variety of sports, along with information on nutrition and safety. The students putting this program together are graduate Physical Therapy students, most with undergraduate degrees in Sports Medicine and other Sports-related degrees.

The following stations will be available during the mini-camp:

Gymnastics, Soccer, Volleyball, Softball, Nutrition, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Track and Tennis.

This mini-camp could be a great supplement to any PE Program...and just plain fun!

When: Saturday March 25th 9:00AM to Noon

Where: Gainesville High School

Why: To raise money for the college's Physical Therapy Program and to give the students experience in teaching children how to be safe while participating in sports.

Cost: $12 per child (T-shirt included)
