'Once Upon a Time' Continues at the Library

Free Summer Showcase programs for children of all ages continue at the Forsyth County Public Library and provide a magical experience for all...

Registration for “Once Upon a Time,” the Forsyth County Public Library’s Vacation Reading Program, continues through July 31. Preschool programs also continue through June 29.

The following free Summer Showcase programs are for children of all ages, especially in grades K-5. Note: Because of construction at the Cumming branch, Summer Showcase programs will be held at the Central Park Recreation Center (in the red gymnasium) and at the Sharon Forks branch.

Saturday, June 24: Chuck Cogliandro and The Emerson Drummers present West African drumming and stories. Try drumming along with a “Boomwhacker!” “The Emerson Drummers in Concert” begins at 10:30 am at the Central Park Recreation Center.

Saturday, June 24: Ken Scott, magical storyteller, presents “Once Upon a Magical Time” at 10:30 am at the Sharon Forks branch.
