If you’ve got little one aspiring to be the next Lance Armstrong, you won’t want to miss a special bicycle race just for kids that will kick-off the Ford Tour de Georgia final stage event in Cumming on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at the City of Cumming Fairgrounds and Castleberry Road.
Little cyclists between the ages of four and eight years old are invited to participate in their own bicycle race just before the professionals pedal off! Reality Bikes in Cumming is sponsoring this fun kids-only event, and two heats will take place beginning at 10:30 a.m., one for the 4-6 age group and another for kids 7-8. All participants will receive a race number so that fans can cheer on their favorites, and water bottles will be provided to each mini contestant, courtesy of Reality Bikes. Special certificates will be issued to each contestant who finishes the race in both heats.
