Lanier Technical College is excited to be offering a Summer Career Camp for late elementary, middle school and high school students at our Oakwood, Dawson and Forsyth campuses! The camp is being offered from June 26th to June 30th, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Session 1) and afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Session 2). Classes being offered include technology areas such as – Web Design, Computer Creation, Robotics, Basic Programming, Video Game Design (Sponsored by ITT Technical Institute, Duluth), Graphic Design, Automotive Technology, Drafting with AutoCAD and Electronics.

We also have other classes that teach students about Cosmetology, Interior Decorating, Marketing with an Apprentice Challenge (just like the TV show) and Babysitting Basics where they will become certified by The American Red Cross in First Aid and CPR.

Certified teachers and business professionals will be serving as session instructors. Classes are $100 per session. This is an opportunity to invite the next generation to explore different academic areas while having fun in a camp environment.
