You’re Invited To Come Join in the Fun! The Rotary Club of Alpharetta presents The Mayor’s Challenge & Family FunFest 2005, North Fulton’s Premier Family Event, on Saturday, October 1st at Wills Park.

For both athletes and recreational walkers alike, the day kicks off with the 9th Annual Alpharetta Mayor’s Challenge 5K/10K road race, a Peachtree qualifier, which starts at 7:15 a.m. behind the Wills Park Pool.

The 4th Annual Family FunFest at the Wills Park Equestrian Center on Wills Road in Alpharetta starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. This day-long event designed for families includes:

• Kid’ Zone – Dozens of attractions and rides for children of all ages, including petting zoo and pony rides

• Children’s Arts, Crafts & Games – More than 24 children’s interactive activities, including spin art, face painting, sand art, wax candles, tie dye shirts, games of chance, jugglers and clowns.

• Entertainment Stage – A variety of local entertainers every hour

• Cuisine Scene – Food tasting booth featuring 15 local restaurants offering

tasting portions of their most popular dishes

• Car Show – Over 150 antique, classic and custom cars to bring out the child

in all of us

• YMCA Teen Zone – A special reserved area under the covered area featuring

a "battle of the bands"

• Alpharetta Rotary Signature Project – The unveiling of our new Safe Teen

Driving Program utilizing driving simulators and instruction in conjunction with LEADER GA.
