The Forsyth County community is invited to attend this week’s local Special Olympics games at Forsyth Central High School on Saturday, April 15th at 9:30 a.m. The City of Cumming has proclaimed the week of April 9 – 15 as "Special Olympics Forsyth County Week."
The organization's neat new logo has also been confirmed and will appear on t-shirts this year. Shirts are selling for $10 each and the proceeds will go to Special Olympics Forsyth County. T-shirts will be sold at the upcoming games, and a registration booth will be set up at the games for those who would like to participate with Miracle League Softball.
After the local games take place, Special Olympics Forsyth County will be focusing on other activities with various sporting clubs to encourage year-round games in our community.
