Street of Dreams Luxury Home Tour Debuts on May 13

Lucky for Forsyth County residents, the 2006 Street of Dreams Luxury Home Tour Returns to Lake Lanier in neighboring Hall County...

Street of Dreams, the annual luxury home showcase, heads back to Lake Lanier in Hall County this spring with a magnificent collection of five custom-built masterpiece homes showcased on one street within the new Marina Bay resort community. Five local builders have teamed with interior designers from north Georgia and metro-Atlanta to create these luxury homes, which will feature the latest innovations in home building designs, furnishings and accessories.

A Sneak Preview of This Year’s Show:

- Lighthouse library and reading nook, complete with a spiral staircase leading to an observation deck with views of Lake Lanier;

- Open-air widow’s walk with a wrought iron railing, full kitchen and lounging area, ideal for outdoor entertaining;

- Elegant, yet relaxed great room featuring a two-story, double-sided stacked stone fireplace finished with an antique cypress mantel;

- Theme rooms, such as a Fox Theatre-inspired home media room, nautical basement with a Hemingway-inspired boat shaped bar, a mystic wine cellar complete with tasting tables, and the ultimate children’s playroom;

- Master bedroom retreat featuring a two-story closet with a mezzanine level leading to an exercise room accompanied by a tanning bed and juice bar;

- A free-floating curved staircase offering a panoramic view of Lake Lanier and the Blue Ridge Mountains through a 19-foot-high glass window.

TICKETS: Adult ticket prices are $12 (weekend)/$10 (weekday); a $2.00 discount is available for seniors 65+ and children ages 3 - 12. Children under age 3 are free.

PRODUCER: Street of Dreams, Inc., currently in its 21st year, is a Seattle-based producer of luxury home tours in the United States and Canada. Street of Dreams shows have been produced in Atlanta since 1987. The last show was located at Big Canoe in 2005.

Take Exit #20 (Highway 60) West and travel a total of 7.8 miles. Highway 60 will merge with Highway 53 (Dawsonville Highway). Turn right on Sardis Road between the Citgo and BP gas stations. Go ½-mile and veer left at the Y-intersection. Travel 3.4 miles on Chestatee Road to the stop sign. Turn right onto Cool Springs Road. After ¾-mile, the entrance to Marina Bay will be on your left. Follow the signs for the Street of Dreams location and parking.

Take Exit #17 (Highway 306) and travel 8 miles to where the road veers to the left. Turn right onto Highway 53 (Dawsonville Highway). Turn left onto Sardis Road between the Citgo and BP gas stations. Go ½-mile and veer left at the Y-intersection. Travel 3.4 miles on Chestatee Road to the stop sign. Turn right onto Cool Springs Road. After ¾-mile, the entrance to Marina Bay will be on your left.
