Vickery Village announces the opening of Bennett & Brandi. Offering fine furnishings, oil paintings and accessories for inspired living, Bennett & Brandi is located at 5752 North Vickery Street. Co-owner Peter Brandi has another store in Roswell, called Peter Brandi Gallery & Interior. Peter has opened another store here in Forsyth County because “I have a lot of clients in south Forsyth. I knew this was a great area. We look forward to becoming a part of the community.”
Cheri Morris, a partner in Vickery Village, LLC adds, “Forsyth County has a legendary growth rate, one of the highest in the nation. This creates a huge need for home furnishings, accessories and artwork. In merchandising Vickery Village, we have sought out the most creative retailers we could find to offer everything from antiques and oil paintings to contemporary furnishings and art objects.”
Bennett & Brandi will offer extensive lines of country French to formal Chippendale furniture and accessories including lines from Bevan Funnel to American Heritage. Available services at Bennett & Brandi include decorating and interior design services, consultations, estate sales, and appraisals.
Morris explains, “Peter Brandi is known throughout the North Atlanta area for his design flair and his incredible customer service that has resulted in a broad network of wonderful, longstanding relationships. Basically, everybody knows Peter Brandi. And everybody who knows him loves him. He was the first retailer to commit to Vickery Village. He did so over a year ago and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the Vickery family.
“One of the unique things about Vickery Village is the way it uses the natural topography of the land. We kept the rolling, curving nature of the land and tucked the buildings into the natural terrain. This is counterintuitive to traditional retail development patterns. which mass grade and flatten the property as step one” adds Morris. “Peter had the creativity to take a unique, two-level space in a facility like no other in Forsyth County. Bennett & Brandi, with its “front and center” location, has entrances on the upper level at Clarion Street and the lower level on North Vickery Street. Village customers will be able to, after a cup of coffee, walk across Clarion Street and stroll through Peter’s art gallery and store to the other shops in the Village. This is the type of condition that you generally see only in the older cities in Europe, Canada, and the northeast U.S.”
Peter has been established as a dealer in fine art, fine furniture & antiques, and respected as both an interior and exterior designer in the Atlanta area since 1979. He has demonstrated his love and talent for art and architecture throughout the metro Atlanta area in the many luxury residences and commercial buildings he has helped design and decorate. His work has been presented at Christmas at Callanwolde, The Atlanta Symphony Show House and the Atlanta Tour of Homes. His client list includes such names as Anita Baker, Whoopi Goldberg, Michael Jackson, Tom Glavin and Harry Norman to mention a few.
For the past six years, Peter has owned and operated Peter Brandi Gallery in historic downtown Roswell. The Gallery has been voted #1 in the 2006 “Roswell’s Best” in local publications and has achieved citywide fame. Peter has achieved the reputation throughout Atlanta of providing original and unique oil paintings at very reasonable prices. His popularity has been cemented by his efforts to make sure his clients are happy and inspired by the art they purchase.
In 2000 Scott Bennett joined forces with Peter to expand their offerings and better meet the needs of both their clients, resulting in the creation of “Bennett & Brandi”.
Bennett & Brandi will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. For more information on Bennett & Brandi, call 770-886-6400 or email antiquesb@bellsouth.net.
