Super Suppers’ franchisee Boumi Johnston will be featured on Recipe For Success on the Food Network December 27th, at 9:30pm EST (check local listings).
The three intense days of taping began only four months after the Cumming, Georgia location (found at 5890 Bethelview Road in Cumming), was opened in May. Recipe For Success introduces remarkable people who swallowed their fears to undergo a risky career makeover. The half-hour dramatized show will take the viewer on Boumi’s journey to make her new Super Suppers location work while still tending to her duties as wife and mother of three young children.
"It was very exciting, fun and exhausting, all at the same time. It ended up teaching me that all that I am going through, in juggling a career and family, is worth it because we get to give our customers more time as a family around the dinner table,” says Boumi.
Entrepreneur magazine just listed Super Suppers as one of the Franchise 500 What's Hot, stating that Do-It-Yourself Meal Preparation is the top franchising trend for 2006 and has long-term potential. Super Suppers, who currently has 171 stores, sold in 33 states since they started franchising nationally only 12 months ago, is taking the "meal assembly" industry and the U.S. by storm. On pace to make a serious impact on people's eating habits for years to come, they most recently began making all their entrees trans-fat free.
