Grilling Tip #4

General Grilling Tips

  • 1. Trim visible fats from meats.

  • 2. Marinate foods in the refrigerator.

  • 3. If you would like to use a marinade as a sauce, be sure to boil it for at least 1 minutes before serving it.

  • 4. Always use a clean plate to serve grilled foods, not the plate you used to carry the meat to the grill. (paper plates are awesome)

  • 5. To help retain juice, turn meat with tongs rather than piercing it with a fork.

  • 6. For moist, juicy meats, let them rest 5 minutes or so after removing them form the grill.
