A meeting of the Rome Floyd County Development Authority brings news of the expansion of F&P Georgia Manufacturing at a cost of $12.5 million and 20 jobs.
Rhonda Satterfield, Accounting and Purchasing Manager at the Floyd County Manufacturing Plant said that Honda, an existing customer has brought the plant the new business.
F&P Georgia has 340 employees and includes welders and assemblers and painters of suspension and engine mount parts for automotive manufacturers. Last year, F&P added a steel stamping facility.
The plant’s expansion would bring employment to approximately 360.
The company was commended by Chairman of the Development Authority, Willis Potts on their growth and job creation since opening 5 years ago.
