GeorgiaCares, a part of the Area Agency on Aging, will be holding one-on-one sign-up and assistance events in all 15 counties of Northwest Georgia between November 15 and December 31. Anyone who wants to sign on with the Medicare Part D (drug) program, or who is signed up but wishes to change their coverage to a different plan will find staff and volunteers available to help at the site on the scheduled day. You may sign up for an event in a county other than one in which you live, but you will be required to call ahead and reserve a time slot. Reservations are being taken now.
